Anotace

Having completed this course, students would be able to comprehend the topic of digitization in cultural tourism institutions. Discussed issues include information about cultural tourism itself and about online marketing in tourism with the emphasis on using diferent digital tools. Student are familiar with legal aspects of digitization in tourism. The course focuses on practical training in digitization in tourism - students go through various case studies and practice their digital skills.


Knowledge: Students are able to describe cultural tourism. Students are able to define the concept of online marketing in tourism. Students can specify different types of digital tools suitable for cultural tourism institutions and they are able to explain the principles of using these tools in the context of legal aspects of digitization


Skills: Students are able to use various digital tools suitable for cultural tourism institutions and they are able to evaluate efficiency of using these tools.


General eligibilities: Students will be familiar with the issues of digitization in cultural tourism in Czech and also in an international context. Students are able to coordinate various team activities according to given instructions, they can effectively work together as a team and they are able to take responsibility for its results. Students are able to create an online digital tool suitable for cultural tourism institutions and they are able to critic its weaknesses and suggest improvements.
