Anotace

The course is concerned with a topic that is playing a more and more important role in people working in nursing professions. There are many challenges that healthcare professionals must cope with on a daily bases. Their job is definitely not monotonous - they are always learning new things, saving lives, they have to work with all types of people, handle their personalities and problems. In other words, they work under pressure most of the time.



The goal of the course is to describe the causes and consequences of such a workload and present specific ways the people working in nursing professions can decrease its level. The students should be able to take advantage of the techniques, recommendations, and pieces of advice and put them into practice.
